JACK OF ALL TRADES, MASTER OF NONE...

Do you feel stretched too thin? Have a hand in so much but not excelling at anything?

How many times have you heard the phrase “Jack of all Trades” or had someone say that about you? I admit, I’ve said this about myself before and honestly, I thought it was a compliment!....

We spend sooooo much time trying to the best at everything. We want to be the best cook, have the best remedies on how to lose weight, expert in all things business, run multiple business (that has nothing to do with our calling or purpose), be the friend that solves all the problems, be the go-to for our families, and still work a full-time job! Whew, I’m tired just reading this. And we got (yes got) the nerve to be hard on ourselves when a day isn’t perfect, or we didn’t get to complete that to-do list!......

Sis, you gotta stop. It is okay to be good at multiple things, but stretching yourself thin just to prove you can or to be able to brag and boast on social media? That’s not where it’s at!

[Don’t get us started on how social media plays a BIG part in this logic]

Your purpose from God is not EVERYTHING…..God didn’t call you to do it all! Take up new hobbies, get educated on new things, strive to be your best self DAILY. But don’t let the hype of doing it all get in the way of doing the things that God called you to do!

So, the next time you hear Jack of all Trades, think but have I mastered any…….

What does this have to do with d’cluttering?

How does this affect me keeping my home organized?

EVERYTHING!!!
